Broken mirrors
Broken mirrors
You crash to ground but don't make a sound
Your body is in pain but the smile don't change
Tears streaming down your face but no one is phased
You see your reflection, a screen cracks
You see your reflection, a cup smashed
You see your reflection, a mirror has a heart attack
What is happening to you
Letting this pain consume you
Can't see what's behind the words
All you known is that it really hurts
Trying so hard to be you
But no one wants to see you
Swallowing pills skipping meals
Eating ice or excersisng twice a day
Just to make the pain go away
Broke mirror
All because your not thin
Step on scale to see nothing has changed
Resulting back to all that pain
Broken mirrors
You can't help it but you create broken mirrors
Take all your pain out on mirrors
Can't stand to look in the mirrors
Because you wonder what went wrong in the mirror
Now you've found a man who you thought was the one
Turns out he was far from it
He tells you that you should be happy because he's with you
Even though he happens to diss you, hit you or restrict you from the outside world
While he goes out and fucks every girl
You stare in the mirror with anger on your face
Trying to figure out how you got in this place
You stay because he makes you feel good
He tells you you're pretty then sticks it in good
But god for bid you ever make him mad
Next thing you know you're getting hit with glass
Get called a fat ass or trash cause you didn't give up that ass
Get pushed and choked cause you questioned his location
You look in the cracked mirror blood dropping down you face
Scar above your eye
Black gently placed
Fist balled up due to the pain
Tired of everything tired of being drained
A Broken mirror that's what you see
You go and grab a piece
A Broken mirror looks like a solution
Scratch your wrist to no longer be pollution
A Broken mirror could be the answer
You slide down the back of the door
Feeling your body slap against the floor
You think to yourself that this is what you need to do
So you can finally be through
Through with the pain
Through with the tears
Through with those years you never felt complete
Through with the times you never felt good about yourself
Always trying to improve your health
All for someone else
Over the insecurities
Over the competition
Over anything that you felt you finished last in
It was time to pass
Maybe next time it won't be this bad
